Introducing The 2012 CT Wave Coaching Staff

10th Grade Elite ExposureTeam - Head Coaches David Proulx & Michelle Fernandes

Dave Proulx - David's responsibilities at WNEU include Athletic Administration Assistant/Assistant Women's Basketball Coach Western New England University

Proulx will also enter his third season with the Western New England College women's basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach for the 2011 - 12 season where he is responsible for player recruitment, scouting, as well as opponent scouting.

David led the West to gold medal at Bay State Games this past summer. Proulx of Western New England, captured the gold medal at the Bay State Games in Boston with a 60-50 victory over Northeast.

Michelle Fernandes enters her second season as an assistant coach for the women's basketball team.

Coach Fernandes, who works as an admissions counselor in the Elms College Admissions department, brings a great deal of playing and coaching experience to the CT Wave basketball program.

Coach Fernandes was a four-year starting point guard for the Blazers between 2004 and 2008 and was a team captain for three of those seasons. Coach Fernandes is currently ranked second on the Blazers' all-time assists list with 220, and third on the program's all-time steals list with 136, averaging 2.2 assists and 1.8 steals per game. She also connected for 133 field goals from beyond the arc, the most in school history.

11th Grade National Team - Isreal Caban

Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach for Bolton High School - Isreal, in his Inaugrial season with the CT Wave, Caban captured the 10th Grade Connecticut District Championships and finished 8th in Orlando AAU Nationals 2011.

Founder of the organization in 2003 Coaching in 2007 AAU Nationals Sweet 16, 2008 Hershey USJN Final 4 and was freshman boys basketball coach at Fermi High School in 2006 & 2007 Director of Camps for player development and coaching philosophy. As a player, Mike was a three sport captain at Chicopee High School and went on to play Football and Baseball at Ferrum JUCO in Virginia and finished his carreer at Framingham State College in football, basketball and baseball - Alves won two ECAC honors for both football and baseball. In 2006 - 2007 Mike also designed and helped build Nomads Adventure Quest, and along with his full-time job with a National Energy Company, Mike is part owner of the facility which has been the practice home for the CT Wave ever since!

Bob has been with the Wave for almost 6 years - Bob was an assistant to the Manchester Boys High School basketball team for nearly a decade and has over 25 years of coaching experience!

Lois and her husband Roy have been coaching with the organization for over 4 years. They have coached the 5th & 7th grade AAU teams and the director of girls basketball league in Vernon for the past several years. By day Lois is the Principal at Maple Street School in Vernon

This is Kerrin's first season as a CT Wave head coach, but she has had many successful campaigns as head coach with the CT Roughriders , including and undefeated 37- 0 season and the 2008 CT State Champions Division 1 * USJN U10 Champions in Hershey PA in 2008
