Connecticut Wave
AAU Basketball
The Connecticut Wave Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Club is striving to maintain a position as a premiere non-profit organization for the development of girls and boys basketball in the Northeast region of Connecticut.

We will work hard to have a positive national and regional presence and reputation by competing at the highest levels possible.  The Wave, which is open to all interested players, will  be known as a teaching organization that helps its athletes on and off the court.  This help runs the gamut from reinforcing positive values, to educating the players about college opportunities that are available.

The Wave recognizes the priorities of family,  religion,  and school,  and enthusiastically accepts its role as a basketball related complement to those important responsibilities and relationships.   At the same time we value and respect the benefits of participation in the game of basketball and will continue to treat the game for what it is - a chance for players to have fun, learn to compete and to grow as individuals.

This season we are proud to be expanding our player participation depth to a wider range of towns throughout the North Central Connecticut area.  Participating players now cover Ellington, Vernon, East Windsor, Windsor, Windsor Locks, Enfield, Hartford, Tolland, Coventry, Stafford, Andover, East Granby, Granby, Bolton, Hebron, Marlborough, Manchester, South Windsor, East Hartford, Glastonbury, Somers, Brooklyn, Storrs, Avon and Longmeadow MA.

Our coaching staff has also grown.  We have added some exciting new coaches to an already dedicated coaching and camp staff. We added a boys program this year which will bring the same level of competition and excitment the girls program has developed over the past 4 years. We have state level teams in most age groups and are looking forward to another great season!

As always, thanks for your interest!
